Cougar rock campground is an excellent place to stay and explore Mt. Rainier. We stayed in Loop E where all the camp sites where close together but still provided privacy. The campground provides easy access to hikes in both Longmire and Paradise areas of the National Park. We especially enjoyed the Eagles Peak hike out of Long-mire-- strenuous.
